We would like to welcome you and your family to the very special community that is a partnership of the Highland and Fritz Elementary schools. We are looking forward to an exciting new school year that will bring with it lots of new opportunities for everyone at both schools.
With tight school district budgets, the PTO is increasingly called upon to help finance more and more activities, programs, and improvements at our school. By joining the PTO and supporting the PTO's fundraisers, you help sponsor such terrific programs like the Reading Program, Student Enrichment, Teacher Mini-grants for educational programs, as well as help to provide computers, flip-cameras, playground equipment, art and music supplies, and much more.
Of course we are not all work! The PTO coordinates several fun events throughout the year that bring our students, families, and staff together to enjoy our wonderful spirit of community. Events such as the Back to School Picnic, Ice Cream Social, Monster Mash, Craft Fair, Father-Daughter Dance, Field Day and more are all sponsored by the PTO!
Becoming a member of the PTO is easy! All you have to do is fill out the membership form and send it in with your child along with the $15.00 per family membership dues. It's like contributing $1.50 a month to help support all the programs and events sponsored by the PTO! Even if you cannot find the time to volunteer or attend meetings, please consider joining to help with the sponsoring of the programs.
